my friend Paula is home up in the Apollo area for the anniversary of her mom’s death a year ago today. She sent me pics of my elementary school, St James the Greater, and the associated church. I haven’t been there since my dad’s funeral 12 years ago December.
I had an enmity in the hospital prior to surgery. They really showed me hostility and ill will. So I pooped on their shoes.
Gotta call BS on that.

It is raining off and on, so the classic rock station I listen to most was playing rain songs, starting with my personal favorite-

It put me in a rain song mood, so I dragged out a CD with CCR’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” to play-I wish I also had Guns and Roses “Cold November Rain”...
God answers prayers! xsteen’s boyfriend has been looking for a job since January pretty much. he had three interviews with this one firm in June and has known for several months that it was between him and another guy who had actual direct lobbying experience [xsBF does not]. Well he just called to say he got the job! Thanks be to God. This has been a prayer project for at least 3-4 months. Now they can get on with their lives.
Diversity is our strength.
That is wonderful! I’m sure that with three interviews, he will show them he really is the absolute best they could have. I hope there will be a time again with work for all who want it, like there used to be before the economy was ruined.
My compadre is at a bid meeting in Uvalde right now, for a commercial job, and I’m praying...
