The AK-47. If I was put on an alien planet, similar to Earth but unknown, I think the AK-47 would be the best choice, easy to operate and maintain. Some say the 7.62mm X 39mm Warsaw Pact ammo is comparable to a .30-30, a good deer round.
AK-47 is my favorite. This gun practically indestructible.
