The link shows that they also sell the Ooma Telo. I have an Ooma, and it's better than the phone company service I used to use. (Cheaper, more features, higher sound quality.)

If you break your ooma device or it stops working then what will you do? Does ooma replace a device that fails, just poops out?

So you pay $149 up front forooma then you pay nothing except each month taxes you pay on a copper land line too. For me this would be about $3.50 a month.

I see ooma units on ebay lower than $149.
