The important thing is that the brave officers got home safe to their families that day.

Unbelievable — I hope he wins big in his civil suit.
But rest easy Californians — his assailant is still on the job serving the public safety.

“The public if they get stopped and simply comply with what they are asked to do, they have nothing to fear, nothing to fear at all,” said Acting Chief Ken Hill”
Refusing to sign a ticket does not give the Gendarmerie the right to beat someone close to death, Mr. Hill.
Unless there are significant facts to the contrary that the reporter left out of the story, Hill needs to be fired and the officers need to be prosecuted.

Crooked cops + Steroids = Senseless death and destruction
People really do wonder why no one likes cops anymore. These roid junkies should be disarmed and thrown out of the police force with a catapult.

Typical cops demanding the respect they are too stupid to
earn. Punk cop and dumb cop don’t care. All they want is
that gun and badge to get back at the world.
According to acting jackboot Ken Hill you have nothing to
fear if you comply with what they ask you to do. Now we
know what happens when you don’t. Sad to say this is becoming
the national norm.
The moral of the story is, do what the cops say or get beat
to death. And remember, you can never trust a cop, they
think they are over and above the rest of us.

Good thing he wasn’t with a baby deer or the family dog. Then they would have had to bring in the SWAT team. He should have just said he was carrying a load of illegal in from Mexico and as soon as he was going to drop them off at the food stamp office he was going to rest.

Here's the "officer" who beat the driver.
NBC Bay Area obtained records showing Murrill was also trained as a licensed fist boxer before joining the academy while at Fort Hood, Texas.
So was he ex military?
I wonder if they checked the cop for steroid use.

They get what they vote for. I have no sympathy for a populace who want a police state.
They refuse to learn history thinking they'll be the last to be killed. Screw them all.

It was a long, long time ago but I was a state trooper. These guys don't even belong on a village police force much less the state. It was a different world back then. We had some pricks but we “policed” our own to a large degree. I see the “robocops” that are now in every department. It is disgusting. My only relief is our local, rural sheriff's people are pretty laid back. One night I was doing 60 in a 35 (country back road), I just got a warning to slow it down some. Yeah I was going way too fast but the warning was enough for me. We used to use common sense. That is gone now.

Still, nearly two years later neither the CHP nor the state Attorney Generals office will confirm whether or not the officers involved were ever disciplined for their actions, citing the law officers bill of rights. Its been six months now, and Im wondering if anyone ever heard what happened to the 9 cops involved in shooting at Margie Carranza and David Perdue during the Chris Dorner chase. You may remember that they were the folks of the wrong race, wrong gender and in the wrong type of vehicle who were shot and (and hit in Carranzas case) while the cops scrambled to catch Dorner.

Well, I have a multitude of violent thoughts that don’t bear sharing.
I think the remaining police officers who are honorable and have a moral compass is a fraction that corresponds more or less with that fraction of American males that are actually Men. I’ll leave it to the ladies to tell us how small that fraction is.

Two officers, one of them a trained fist-boxer, Sounds like punk cop was looking for any excuse to show off from what I read.
