Just wondering, how does one get a commercial license if you can’t read?

"The public if they get stopped and simply comply with what they are asked to do, they have nothing to fear, nothing to fear at all," said Acting Chief Ken Hill "WTF? If this 'chief' said this he should go to jail as well as the arresting officers... Is this story real?

Don’t tell me...
The officers are on PAID leave while the matter is under investigation... Right?
To: rawhide
Are you freaking kidding me? If you just comply you have nothing to fear? That smacks of police state for sure!

Olegs Kozacenko just won the lottery, but he may not know it yet. I’m sure lawyers are lining up to tell him the good news.

Just wondering, how does one get a commercial license if you cant read? I think it was more of a case of the truck driver not being able to make out the cop's handwriting.

I was coming back to the story to post the same thing. How would he keep his log books up too? Doesn’t excuse what happened to him though.

The fact that all the charges were thrown out :DUI, possession of white powder (table salt) and resisting arrest, and the pictures, pretty much say it.

Actually, and scarier even, this beat-down happened two years ago, and the officers involved are STILL on duty.
From the article:
Still, nearly two years later neither the CHP nor the state Attorney Generals office will confirm whether or not the officers involved were ever disciplined for their actions, citing the law officers bill of rights.
Gee, that bill of rights must trump the US Constitution's amendments 1-10! I think the OFFICER'S bill of rights include Article 3, "Citizen's who show disrespect or disobey an officer are scheduled for road side beat downs. All they have to do to avoid such correction (as deemed necessary by the officer) is fully comply. If there is a question of whether the officer is wrong, refer to Article 1."
Article 1. "An officer is never wrong. If you don't agree, he will beat you to an inch of your life."
