I am searching all over the web trying to find a song. I don't know if it's old or new, and I don't even know who sings it. I don't even know the title. It goes like this: "While you were sleeping, they came and took it all. It was an inside job, the way it always is..." It's full of heavy metal, and the singer has a high tenor voice. If anybody out there knows the song I'm talking about, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I already knew it didn’t fall into the Death Metal genre. It was nothing like the music of the Death Metal masters like Anthrax, Megadeth or Slayer. This song is high-pitched and achingly sweet. And very scary, in a subtle way.

Everyone knows Don Henley is smooth adult contemporary pop metal.I wonder what that makes Kenny G? Acid Jazz? And what about Yanni? Greek Thrashcore?

Thanx, Freepers! I don’t even use Google anymore. Why go through the hassle when I can just ask y’all? I’ve never heard of Don Henley, but I’ve heard of The Eagles. They made two songs that I like a lot. “Get Over It” and “Desperado”.

Can you hum a few bars? That's what I did once. A month ago, as a matter of fact. Posted a link on Fakepuke. There went my reputation. Still haven't figured out what song it was.

I had to do my own YouTube search; none of the YouTube links in this thread were the song you wanted. I found this, which seems to be a live performance by Don Henley:

Thanks I really enjoyed that.

I never really was big on South Park... but man, that was well done... it probably exposed a lot of people to Heavy Metal that otherwise would have never ever even heard of that movie.

I’m looking for a song. It was on the Bob and Tom show. It was about a guy going to a girls house and he got real nervous and lost control of his bowels. He then pulled out a gun and said no one gets out of here alive. It’s got to be about 10 years old. TIA Google was no help. lol
