Yes! They suggested 191 and Loop 250 at one time. Can you
just imagine what could happen!?
I originally typed it with ‘thang’ in parentheses... but thought, it may be construed as ‘rasiss’, with the current view of ‘thangs’... true story ;^)
The ‘thangs’ evolve ;(
Have you been to the Colosseum they call home?..

Texans OWN that twang thang, complainers can go live in another state!
“Music City”? >.< wtheck?!
Winwood was about the same landspace as the ‘new’ Permian Mall..... If I remember correctly, about 3 football fields longs x 2 wide ;)
Shame they had to rename Permian :(
Chuck Wagon Gang is still going strong. They even fry your turkey for free on Thanksgiving! Great group of guys, still drinking’ beer and making the Best BBQ in town!
We seriously need a friend button on here :D
He even built a big dancin and drinkin complex out where an open field used to be I think around 52nd?
You know the type, like they have in Ft. Worth, all in one big building - one room is country, walk a way down you have rock...I've personally never been. (I'm gettin too old for that sheet LOL)
52nd?! you mean about (around) Yukon?
Never thought any outsider would see that territory, beyond driving to the local airport :p (If I remember correctly, that one was called Schlemeyer Field... much personal history there too ;^D)..
And, speaking of that... as friendly as we Texans are.. I personally would not feel comfy with an outsider trying to move in on ‘our’ territory.. :p
You can PM me anytime friend.
I see you are in Japan. Are you stationed there, or regular career move?
Was personal move to here.. but was military influenced ;)
Send me (Texas) MEXICAN food.. I demand it!!! !$$$$”&”&!%%%
hehe.. miss it so much :p
Will send FReepmail :)
No, down a ways from the mall on the same side of the street, kind of across from UTPB. It’s called Graham Central Station. I think that’s the guys name.
And the “outsiders” you can spot them immediately. It’s weird. It’s not that they dress so much differently, they don’t, but, it’s an attitude or something.
They don’t “belong” , they don’t smile or say excuse me, it’s just strange. I’m sure they are not all like that. Some have come in from other parts of Texas or Oklahoma, even Louisiana, and they seem to be a good sort of folk.
OMG.. that reminded me.. >.< I was 7th grader at the time... Think the name of the apt complx was University Park apts..
(I was evil ‘lil bstrd..about 1980).. went into the ditch @ UTPB and shot a jogger on the butt with BB gun >.<
Still asking for forgiveness today.. with a small {humph}..giggle ;^) Would have hated to be that jogger..
(I should be careful... this type of post is what got me banned the first time here :p)
The 80’s were are more innocent time.
Forgive yourself, friend. We have all done things we regret.
Sorry the late answer, I had to feed my husband :)
