Our lesbian love scenes were hell, say actresses after they were 'forced to perform humiliating acts of sex and violence by demanding director'

Two young actresses who star in one of the most successful films released this year have claimed they were forced to engage in humiliating acts of sex and violence by its director.

Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux both say they will never work with Abdellatif Kechiche again following their experience filming Blue is the Warmest Colour.

This is idiotic publicity garbage.

I was watching a show on “The Mummy” the other day - the scene where Evelyn was chained to a slab took 9 days to film. It consists of a few minutes of her tossing back and forth while a rat runs across her. It’s the way film works. It’s why a movie lasting 2 hours takes months to shoot.

I hear you. Imho, a fairly substantial (compared to society at large) number of marriages in “Hollywood” are shams, with both partners being homosexual. Also, I can’t imagine that many straight actors would take on the role of playing a homosexual, particularly if it involved scenes with physical contact.

I saw someone puke on the floor at the ‘love scene’ in Milk (just before I left- with a first date I never wanted to see again).

At least they are not putting it on all channels all the time like “brokeback mountain”

I've never liked Penn. He has always struck me as a surly bully.

"Brokeback Mountain" is another "gem" I didn't watch, other than a five minute period out of ill-advised curiosity. What drew people to that piece of dreck, I'll never know.

How offensive. Why would you presume that I have NOT read the book?

Not unlike Dickens, Hugo spends his time in moral high dudgeon.

My remark was directed to your proclamation that this book is THE GREATEST novel of all time, the greatest story ever told.

I already gave my example, which by the way precedes Hugo’s work by nearly one hundred years. Not only is it a better read, but it is minus the social theory that Hugo is so fond of

Does porn have a script?

No, they spend most of the money on the sound track.

I just don’t see brilliance anywhere - take away the singing and it is just dialogue

let me phrase that another way around- the singing is just simple dialog set to music.

it moves from part to part with no motivation

it is just feelings that get you all worked up with no underlying meaning

Take a bunch of dialogue, set it to music, and you have Les Mis

When the mother loses her job for having a LETTER!!!! (OMG) and then cuts off her hair becomes a prostitute and dies all within a 5 minute span....

I don’t know... I guess I just didn’t like it
