Around 5 a.m. Friday, a bear was spotted on Casa Loma. A resident told Action 7 News that the bear was somewhat hostile and trying to make contact with a person.
A few hours later, the bear was still around the neighborhood. The bear became aggressive and was shot by a homeowner around 7 a.m.

Bears that start to associate people with food eventually cause problems and have to be put down. Feed a bear, kill a bear.
Each generation of dangerous animals have to be taught that humans are the apex predator, and that they are very dangerous to be around.

We have bears down in Lanark Village in Florida. Nice, fat, sleek 400 lb. black bears. Apparently life on the forgotten coast is as good for critters as it is for us.

I’ll be darned——I never would have thought there would be bears in Florida.

There is a bear (or bears) that keeps knocking over my dumpster to flip open the bear-resident doors.
I’ve got a .308 with a suppresor that is about to take care of it since the city won’t do crap besides give me a fine for my garbage being spread all over the world.

Freerepublic screen names are a thin shield against discovery and prosecution.
Treat everything that you put online as if it were to be published in the newspaper with your name as a byline.

I think there are lots of bears in Florida, esp. the panhandle. Not only are they visiting Lanark, but my dad had a car wrecked when one wandered on to the road at 2AM. Deer are really dangerous down here, too.

What city? What country for that matter?
Your point is taken, but not too worried about. I’d SSS.
