During today's questionning of Kerry by Senator Rand, Kerry tried to get General Dempsey to bail him out. Dempsey declined. LOL. Does anyone have a video clip of this? Thanks
I saw that. Lurch was left hanging. lol!
Did Lurch get some face work done? If he did, they really screwed up the eye area.
Dempsey seemed to know that what is being contemplated will be an act of war — didn’t want to concur in Hanoi John’s assertion that it was not.
I saw that also. I'd like to see the video, too. Lurch then turned to Dempsey, and it sounded to me like he mumbled: "Thanks for pulling the rug out from under me!"
In politics you line up your support in advance. Kerry has been around long enough to know this.
Start watching at 9:35 in the video: (LOLOL!)
“”it sounded to me like he mumbled: “Thanks for pulling the rug out from under me!” “”
I think that’s what he did say. Priceless..
What Dempsey said to Kerry was, “Not really, Mr. Secretary but thanks for asking”, when Kerry asked him if he wanted to take the questions (from Rand Paul) after Kerry fumbled them so badly.
When I first started watching the hearing - I didn’t know it was on until an hour after it started - I heard Kerry stammering and stuttering and thought he must have been dipping into his wife’s sherry...
He wasn’t listening to most of the senators - he was busy writing but he was able to zero in on the last thing that he heard but he wasn’t able to conceal his anger if they were the least bit questioning of the goal (HA! as if they have one) of the administration. I would have thought he’d have more emotional control than he showed. Probably wouldn’t take much to send him off the deep end.
Dempsey can’t even state what they are seeking.
