It is on A&E on Monday night at 9 PM my time-the 2nd season ended on August 25th-I hope there will be a 3d season starting next June-the books it is taken from are an on-going mystery series about a Wyoming sheriff and the crimes he investigates-they are available from B&N-now that the season is over, I ordered the first 2.
The series has a Canadian actor-Robert Taylor-as the cowboy/tough guy sheriff who is also a military veteran, the actress who was Kara/Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica as one of his deputies who has a stalker from her past, and Lou Diamond Phillips as the Indian bar owner who is a loyal friend and badass...
So, the cops are the good guys?

Well, these are rural cops and mostly good guys-there have been dirty and gestapo-like cops in some of the shows, but they have been either city cops or feds. There is a recurrent bad cop from Denver who hates Longmire-I think he’s a psycho, too-in the show. I’m convinced he paid the hit man who offed Longmire’s wife-it also could have been the owner of the new casino-but I digress-I love mysteries...

I agree. I am sick of this administration and the current Speaker of the House and his minions.
