False rape accusations should be treated as serious as rapes. Both destroy lives.
i’d love to know how a guy gets his reputation back to what it was before a false rape conviction. for all those that think it ain’t no big deal.
A raped woman can at least get sympathy from society and her reputation is intact. A falsely accused man however has his reputation and life destroyed and is demonized and shunned by society. Even if the false charge is recanted later (and most of them are not), the damage has been done.
