When was the last time I saw “debauchery” used in a news article? I can’t remember. Refreshing just to see that one word! Somebody remembers it! LOL!
“Takes many years in the lodge to rise in rank sufficient to attend the good parties.”
****
The third degree (Master Mason) is the highest degree bestowed in Freemasonry. Most accomplish this within 2 years. Many in 4 to 6 months. George Washington took 9 months.
The degrees given out by appendant bodies (such as 33rd Degree in Scottish Rite) are not higher than the degree of Master Mason. Even then, it doesn’t take long to get most of these other degrees. For example, a Master Mason can obtain Degrees 4 through 32 in Scottish Rite over 3 weekends or a long 4-day weekend depending upon the location (the “Valley”) that is conferring the degrees. In other words, it is quite common for there to be 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons who joined Freemasonry less than two years before getting the 32nd degree.
But let me emphasize that 32nd is not greater than being a 3rd Degree Master Mason. Master Mason is the highest. Ever heard the term “give someone the third degree”? It originates from conferring the Master Mason degree.
As for parties, the masonic brothers who have been around for “many years” are typically in their 60s, 70s, and 80s. If they had these so-called parties, there would be heart attacks at lodge every time an event was held. The closest thing you’ll find to parties are held by the Shriners, and more often than not consists of drinking a few glasses of wine or whiskey while shooting the breeze with other retirees and their spouses...then home to bed by 10 p.m.
Why don’t I get invited to parties like that anymore?
It wasn’t the Masons it was those damned Plumbers!
Wuz wondering if anyone would get that.
There does seem to be history...
From http://www.sandyfrost.newsvine.com/_news/2009/12/19/3652419-jesters-in-high-places
The judge is spending his holidays at Club Fed.
He’s going to hang out at Federal Correctional Institute Jesup, located in southeast Georgia, until January 24, 2011.
He’s 74 years old and is paying a heavy price for being part of an enterprise that appears to be operating a nationwide network of prostitution.
His court documents paint a RICOesque picture of a nonprofit fraternity made up of groups with guys who find girls for their weekend parties. Because of his cooperation, the judge got a reduced sentence in an apparently minimum security facility.
His cooperation has led to the Jesters being investigated for the sexual exploitation of minors and international travel for those purposes.
lol
lol
kinda like the Fraternal Order of Police requires you to be a cop but in no way is it associated with law enforcement
That's the deal. She ain't gonna do more than that no matter how long you stare at her. ;^)
From your post to a thread of its own...
And all priests are pedophiles.
Asinine article that conveniently attaches crimes to any and all Shrines/Jesters
I keep trying to turn the damn light on, but can’t do it!
I have a friend who is a Roman scholar. I asked him what led to the fall of the Roman Empire. Here’s what he told me.
“Rome was great as long as her legions were great.”
Perhaps Obama and the Democrats realize this and are working to destroy our military.
Just the perverted crimes they are caught at.
I was addressing peyton randolphs comment 'As for parties, the masonic brothers who have been around for many years are typically in their 60s, 70s, and 80s.'
But if you like I could point you to a freemason information site that does not back away from the problem of Shriners/Jesters identifying with Freemasons.
I’m a Mason.
What is it you find useful?
Well, I've never found people who answer questions, even implied ones, with another question very useful.
