fan of the mighty Led Zeppelin here....the fawning over Bruce Sh*tstain was my initial introduction to the hypocrisy and bias of the press...
while the press was in orgasm over bruce sh*tsteen in the 70’s, Zeppelin walked the earth as the mightiest band in the world yet were constantly trashed by “music critics”....
i had a girlfriend who loved sh*tsteen....she took me to his concert in 1985...after the first three songs I thought “hey- i may be wrong”...but then i realized why i disliked his music soooo much; the fourth song sounded exactly like the fifth song which sounded exactly like the sixth song which sounded exactly like the seventh song, etc, etc, etc...then of course there was the preaching throughout the concert and a pathetic 25 minute version of the Beetles “twist and shout”....
despising this clown for his political beliefs came much later for me, but i always thought he was the most overrated rock and roll “artist” of the past 1000 years...
True that. Had to replace one of the LPs -- Led Zeppelin III -- I wore it out. Now my son has it on CD and plays it in the car when I ride with him. That's love!
