The Arctic summer was the shortest on record. Forty five days above freezing. Normal is ninety days.

I read that the Northwest passage has closed up early, trapping 22 boats.
If the Canadian C G doesn’t rescue them w/ icebreakers they will be spending the winter there.
My son in CO told me some Arctic nesting birds are heading South, about a month early.
