Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan and Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan in a scene from "The Butler".

Bad mouth the movie all you want, but come 2014, it will rake in the academy awards. No political agenda involved. s/
Its being advertised on the radio, gee, I wonder why? There haven’t been any adds so far on the new Riddick movie that’s coming out, not that it needs one.

I’ve read Kengor’s “The Crudader.” It’s an excellent account of how Reagan brought down the USSR. As for this butler movie, I am absolutely certain I will never watch it. Maybe it’s the sadness of knowing the commies are still alive and well in Hollyweird.

Top 5 Inaccuracies in 'The Butler'
4.The Butler disliked President Reagan: The real Eugene Allen has expressed affection for all the presidents he served, noting he voted for each when they were inhabiting the White House. A framed picture of the Reagans was displayed on Allen's living room wall, and he noted that Nancy Reagan gave him a warm hug when he finally retired. Hardly sounds like the character in the movie, played by Forest Whitaker, who appeared to be fed up with the Reagans and quit for that very reason.

Just having Hanoi Jane play Nancy Reagan was all I needed to know about this farce. Another fairytale passed off as history from the left.

These examples came after the historians recount the time when young Reagan brought two African American football teammates home from college to spend the night with his family. I guess that was the early 1930s, Reagan remained friends with one of them for years. The two black men were W. Franklin Burghardt and Jim Rattan.
This is from a 2008 Washington Post article, it seems to prove that Reagan was a favorite of the Butler.
"Theyve got pictures of President and Mrs. Reagan in the living room. On a wall in the basement, theyve got pictures of every president Gene ever served."
