I have a friend that owns a Home Repo company in the South Chicago area.
If you ever see some of the nightmares they are dealing with on a daily basis, you’d have a MUCH different opinion.
That said, the company does have an obligation to make sure it’s the right friggin’ house.
You are expecting to find a trash house and you see a real home. How stupid, how negligent can you be if that doesn’t make you stop and do a double check.
My Metra train passes through the south end of Chi(t)cago to and from work every day. It looks like a warzone so color me surprised that anyone would actually repo those broken down, burned out pieces of sh*t called "houses" in that part of Chicago.
I'm shocked. I wouldn't get caught dead in those neighborhoods.
