What about Sarah Palin Jim? She is the only Constitutional Article 2 Section 1 true natural born Citizen that was born with ‘sole allegiance’ to the United States that is truly a conservative blessing for this country. She is what America needs and the election of her would be adhering to the founders original intent of not putting a person born with split allegiances in the oval office. That is being a true Constitutionalist.

I said if Cruz is the strongest conservative running. But neither Cruz or Palin have declared. We’ll have to wait and see. And as far as I’m concerned, I’ll go with Levin and others who say Cruz is a natural born citizen.

The ONLY one? You know the whole population of the country?

Lots of folks right here on FR say the same dang things she does.

Why do you assume we are all foreigners?

That describes Cruz. By RIGHT he is a citizen of the USA at birth. It is automatic. You've stated your conclusion and I've stated min.

However, this argument is extremely premature. Cruz is not running for President.

He IS, however, trying to run an anti-ObamaCare campaign. His enemies have discovered that conservatives opposing obamacare love to nitpick arcane little bits of law more than they love to fight against obamacare.

They love to fight to the circular death squad over things that are 3.5 years in the future

If there is something in the Constitution that prevents Cruz from leading a fight against ObamaCare, then please point it out. If not, let's postpone this particular argument until sometime in the summer of 2015.

Right now we'd do better fighting against ObamaCare.

This ongoing debate is tragic in a very special sense. The blame for this confusion has to be put squarely on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. The Court did the Country a grave disservice when it abandoned its oath and sworn Constitutional duty to interpret the U.S. Constitution. As ACJ Thomas said, (I paraphrase) We are doing our best to avoid that issue. I believe the reason they have refused to address the issue is they know their conclusion would be against Obummer. Rather than face the music, they have used ever hook or crook (and probable Obummer blackmail) to avoid the issue
