It is simply a common abbreviation, the use of which as opposed to the full species name is of no importance whatsoever. Everyone knows we are not talking about turkey stuffing.

Earth to Billy Ray: Sorry, old man, but your inability to be a father is what destroyed your family.

He can always say no. One of my children is a great singer but never, ever go to any auditions for anything.

I feel a lot worse for kids and decent adults who were exposed to the video clip unexpectedly, such as those watching Fox News today. My TVs have been inoperable since I heard about that.

As I remeber it, Billy Rae was one of the people pushing hard for the show and the notiriety for his daughter.
IMHO, he is as much, if not much more, at fault than anyone.
And, in this time frame, he divorced his wife and put that much more adverse pressure on the young girl.

Cyrus compared his daughter's current situation to celebrities like Kurt Cobain, Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson, who all died in tragic circumstances.
- Charlotte Church
- Britney Spears
- Lindsey Lohan
- Amanda Bynes
- Amy Winehouse
- Lisa Kelly?

The $200 million she’s earned probably doesn’t hurt, Billy.
Just remember, there is a cost to everything....

Couldn't have anything to do with his parenting skills... According to the article, "Cyrus, 49, played father to his daughter on "Hannah Montana"...Last October, the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer filed for divorce from his wife Tish after a 17-year marriage." He clearly didn't play her father in real life.

I once heard a comedianne say that children should be like paper towels: the first one is always a throw away.
For those who are quick to pounce all over Mr. Cyrus for his lack of parenting skills, no matter what anyone might say, you can't make him feel any worse than he already does.

Having fame, stardom, unlimited sums of money and a bunch of sycophantic sex drugs and rock an roll type hangers on / enablers at the age of 18 is pretty much a recipe for disaster under the best of circumstances.
In the depraved world of Hollywood its a virtual death sentence.
This girl has seen and done more things before her 18 th birthday than even the most seriously dissipated of us see in our lifetime.
OD before 21 is an even money bet

I was going to ping you to this article, but you have already chimed in. I have heard that some of the parents of child actors can be real pains in the arse.

Yes I read that somewhere too that is was Lady Gaga, I assume when she came out in a bikini in the end. Actually, Lady Gaga’s performance was much milder than Miley. Miley was totally street trash.
Here’s Gaga:

Agreed, and I learned the difference years ago as the result of a "practical joke". Turned out to have no noticeable effect on me, other than the duck didn't taste quite right, but did have a modest effect on a friend.
BTW, did you know that officianalis, when cured in a bit of sugar water, then dried and crushed and mixed with 'normal' pipe tobacco about 2 parts in 5 is a good, flavourful smoke (and, of course, non-psychoactive)?
