Even if this generation is lost, parents should speak for abstinance and morality. If a teenager errs, that message will be there as the ideal they should've met. Besides that, these teens can perhaps convey positive values to THEIR children, in the future, when people are perhaps looking for a return to a decent civilization with values. At least they'll know what the values should be.
Sex sleepovers are just wrong. The home should be somewhere where kids can still be kids. JMHO

a promotion by a league of child-molesters?
To: Morgana
A friend did that. His first grandchild was born after the couple broke up.

When you are 18, you can do whatever you want
Seems like a good idea until they turn 17 1/2.

That’s when you get the addendum:
“When you get a job and move out”

Thats when you get the addendum:
When you get a job and move out
There you go. That addendum seems to go a long way.
They turn 17 1/2, drive your car, earn about $80 a week, couldn't live without those weekly guitar lessons, and suddenly they think the rules won't apply in 6 months.

Best quote from a commenter the Huff Post page:
“How Do You Feel About Sex and Teenage Sleepovers?
I’m cool with it so long as my daughter’s male friends are fully aware of the fact that throughout the course of the night, they might find me leaning over them with my chainsaw while uttering the words, ‘go ahead, boy......give me a reason.’”
To: ckilmer
This was a common practice among the upper middle class upper west siders of manhattan two decades ago
I have seen articles endorsing the practice in back issues of Readers Digest from a couple of years either side of 1970.

If I had kids my rule is When you are 18, you can do whatever you want It's clear that you've never had kids, as your statement is only part right. The part missing is "as long as you've moved out of the house and are paying all your own expenses."

When you have zero morals this is acceptable behavior.
Genuine Christians know exactly what this is. They’d be accepting of it if a marriage ceremony took place earlier that day.

They are FRIENDS with their kids, not parents. Being liked is more important than actually raising the kids properly, with values and lessons (some they themselves may have learned the hard way).
Nope, gotta be buddies with kids. Sorry the adult relationship with your kids comes AFTER you’ve raised them right and they respect you as a person and an older adult to them.

yup, and the only way that works is if they’ve been raised right too. hopefully things will sink in and they’ll realize mom and dad weren’t so bad or wrong.

I suspect the teens could teach their parents a few things.

We decided to do it Gods way and basically had a godly agreement that we would help each other get to heaven. Probably the most beautiful thing I have read with regards to how a marriage should be.

Why not teach children how to have sex well" This used to be called "corrupting a minor" and child protective services would pay a visit.
