Saw the documentary based on Hodel’s findings — very compelling evidence.

Reliving past fame and ‘glories’? could happen I guess.
To: SilvieWaldorfMD
I read his book, he convinced me of it.

It would be creepy to think your own father committed an infamous murder.
I guess I can infer they didn't have a great relationship.

This guy has been flogging his story for years. I read his book and was not convinced.

I see someone claim the answer every year but never really follow any of it.
Part of me thinks one of them figured it out and no one listens, the other part thinks they are just selling book/movie rights.

Whenever my dad lets my uncle out of the attic the first thing he says he killed JFK - and his grandad killed Garfield (the president, not the cat).

Okay, but I bet he knows who killed Garfield the cat. Can't you make hi talk?

The Zodiac book had too many holes. However another gentleman wrote a book on zodiac that I believe explains it all and he names the man who just died recently.

My dad once told me he thought he had seen that gal (I guess in Massachusetts) before she went west. He noticed her because she was so beautiful and recognized her when her murder made the news.

Thanks Perdogg.
Hodels father George was booked in 1949 for incest and child molestation. He was also a prime suspect for the 1947 never-solved Black Dahlia murder.
Nope.

In an interview with the Pasadena Star News last week, the author said he planned to show a link between the crime and the work of an artist who was a friend of his father. The link centers on a little-known Man-Ray painting and distinctive scalpel cuts carved into Short before her death. Its another important piece of the puzzle, Hodel said.
Some of it is specualted in this book:

It would be creepy to think your own father committed an infamous murder. For years, Woody Harrelson claimed his dad was innocent and tried to get him out of jail. He eventually acknowledged that his absent father was a repeat hired murderer.
Of course, Woody's a piece of work himself repeatedly portraying psychotic serial killers.
