If I'm ever placed on a jury deciding a “hate crime” charge my vote is *not guilty*...*regardless* of the evidence.With any other charges that might be in play (assault,etc,etc) I'll carefully consider the evidence and vote guilty if the evidence demands it...regardless of the race of the accused or the victim.I absolutely reject the validity of all “hate crime” laws and always will.

I will accept the concept of a “hate crime” when someone proves to me the existence of Love Crimes. Given that all assault is hateful and abhorrent, hate crime is simply another manifestation of newspeak.
