The “Prankster” called the child by name. A great counter joke would be to rip the “Prankster’s” balls off. Wouldn’t that would be one hell of a knee slapper!

He hacked into a audio/video device in a disabled child's room so he could spy on her and verbally abuse her.
Under no standard would such a thing ever qualify as a "harmless prank" today or yesterday.
If he had planted a camera rather than commandeering one (no moral difference) in yesteryear, he would have preferred the jail sentence to the beating he was asking for.
