If Rose did the most vile of crimes, not baseball related, the punishment by MLB couldn't be worse and by that I mean junk related to children. MLB allowed Rose to be among the celebration of the game's greatest players, while he banned, a few years ago. He still needs permission to attend on-field events and the Reds can't honor him by putting him in the team's Hall of Fame. Put the guy in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Fans would overflow Cooperstown that weekend and the overwhelming majority would be supportive I believe.

What is the hall of fame for, if not to remember the greatest players.
I guess there would be a ‘moral person hall of fame’ to remember stalwart moral people like Wilburforce and Clara Barton. Rose wouldn’t be there I suppose.
