That depends on the model. Smooth sailing on my i5 Acer Veriton SFF with SSD and 16GB RAM.

I like acer and windows 7 as every pc in this combo has a built in “recovery drive d” which will restore your pc to its factory condition regardless of how many viri, worms, etc. has infected it.

I’ve done it twice and my pc runs like new because it is basically new.
