AMMO Now Available
My E-Mail | Aug 12, 2013

I just got an E-Mail that .22 LR and other types of ammo are available.
Sales are going fast and the Sportsmans Guide site keeps going down.

I was at Cabelas in Rogers, MN and the ammo shelves were full except for .22. There wasn’t a box of it in sight. I think the bubble is bursting. I might wait until the prices go way down to buy again.

: Plain old Federal JHP. It should be $20-$25 per 525 count box if you can find it

I have run thousands of rounds of this through all of my 22s and it's been extremely reliable for target ammo. Very few feed/eject issues in the Marlin 795, which is moderately picky about ammo.

Suggest to her that every time she goes to the grocery store she by 2 extra cans of veggies and 2 extra cans of white potatoes. One day you will look around and realize you are now a target of DHS for having too much food on hand.

I got permission from “She Who Must Be Obeyed” to purchase a new home defense implement by promising to sell a quantity of .223 to cover the cost.

After I got my new toy and before I tried to sell, I was in the local gun shop and they had a bunch of PMC 5.56 for $8.99 a box. She agreed it was better to keep it than sell for less than that to get rid of it.

Sometimes ya just get lucky.
