contumacious; adj.

Etymology: c.1600, from L. contumaci-, stem of contumax (see contumely) + -ous.

Practice makes perfect.....post on....
What is an ice cube tray? I use lots more ice now that it’s instant. LOVE ice in my drink...4-6 cubes...or crushed ice. They are slightly smaller than a tray used to be, though. Can’t run out of ice, no way.
If you find a place to get better ice trays, please let me know-I always keep trays of ice in the freezer, because since no one but me is here, it doesn’t make sense to run the icemaker. Dave is right-about a month is about the average use of those trays before they crack and shatter...
I have had better luck previously, but the last 2 batches we bought were crap.
And did I mention they were not designed to stack?
That’s retarded, sir.
True-but since there are 3 trays for a dollar-at the dollar store-I just use them till they break and go buy more...
Looks weird.
Three of us here - on weekends usually 5. Have you never seen a southerner fill a drink while out to eat? We FILL the glass with ice, then put in the liquid....I usually ask for a second glass of ice at the table while eating out so I can keep my glass full of ice. ;^)
Don’t see a place or real need for warming drawer, bc cooktop is on island and double oven wall facing and microwave will be built in behind. Xsbaby eats ice like it was candy our i ice-maker cannot keep up, I bought ice cube trays and lately have been supplementing with bags of ice from Safeway. So no worries on that score.
Size is fixed by the space he’s allotted for it and color will be stainless steel bc that’s what the new dishwasher was so everything else has to match if. I’m interested in reliability and reliable repair. I’ve decided side by side will bifurcate the space so now I think French door with bottom freezer is best bc I want water/ice on door. I don’t know what a reasonable amount is for this stuff no guidelines. The best reviewed gas cooktop was a Thermidor, there’s gradations of price even there. I do want a fifth burner bc I don’t have that now and it would be useful.
Prob is ive read bad reviews of LG though it gets a high ranking, so that perplexes me
Current cooktop is 14 yrs old and we haven’t had any smells / leaks.
OmG we could keep the North Pole in business producing ice!! For one thing the most common beverage is ice water!
I like the glass cooktop we have. It’s electric and easier to keep clean than gas. I live with messy cooks so it makes a difference. We just use a tool with a razor blade to clean the whole surface.
We order easy ice at Sonic to get our money’s worth of a beverage but load up on ice at home. I think Dave is a secret ice miser. ;)
Once you’ve had gas you never go back ; ) or something like that ROR!!
Thanks! Weird looking, but I can see packing it with my lunch-using it as a holder for a bottle of the vitamin water I pack to drink with lunch, so I don’t have to pack ice cubes like I do now...
It comes from not having an ice maker i think.
Xs teens boyfriend rented a room prior to living in his current apt. He had kitchen privileges but the woman was a nut. She used to keep fish in the freezer and so the ice was always fishy. Xsbaby bought him fish shaped ice where the cubes looked like fish, as a housewarming gift last summer.
If you are going to get an exhaust hood be sure to check out how loud it is. We didn't and it is one of the few things we regret.
