They were; three of them were female (one solid black, one silver tabby point, and a torbie) and the fourth was a male orange tabby. We kept the torbie.

So I take it you noticed the notch in her left ear then?

Oh yes, I noticed the notch. Was it from a fight or was it a notch put there by a feral cat rescue group? Since she was pregnant, I tend to think it was a natural notch, as I think the notches the groups put there are to indicate the animal was spayed or neutered.

I suspect she got it in a fight. Our shelter cuts the tip off one ear for TNR ferals, and besides, Patch was still intact (not to mention pregnant!) when she decided to live in the house with us.

How come the dog comments have excuses or snide remarks after them, but not the cat comments? Maybe some female Freepers might like to “edit” the cat comments?

As I mentioned before, the original thread was based upon a claim that Cats Are Better Than Women Because..., and then some jokester replied with a listing of why Dogs Are Better Than Men Because..., and the lists and comments became rather confused after a bit.

The resulting thread with the original, compiled lists together were then reposted on a new thread for clarity, and comments were added to the response from the original posting, thus the replies to the Dog Claims.

Oddly enough, I have yet to see anyone refute either the Cat claims, or the points brought up in responce to the Dog Claims. Strange, n'est ce pas? *snicker*

Gee. Sorry then. And I was so-o-o-o looking forward to finding out exactly how "wrong" I was when I pointed out the truthfulness of My original Cat claims.

Granted, the rebuttals to the countering Dogs-are-better posting come from personal recollections (and knowledge of women in general, of course), but so far, no takers. *yawn*

Could it be that I just might be right? NO. A man being found out to be right? Where are all the feminist idealists that insist that If It's Not Gurrl, Then You Must Hurrl?

I could understand maybe perhaps on a saturday night, but so far nothing?
