Ditto That.
She spins clockwise. Who needs instructions on making her spin the other way? It’s simple to do.
The perky breasted spinner is in silhouette. I think my perception of the direction she moves is influenced by which side, front or back, of her body I read as facing me. Look at the figure and see that you can perceive either her face or the back of her head as facing you. That perception affects which direction she seems to be moving.
She is jumping as she turns.
I don’t see a link to the poll either.
Spinning? Who’s spinning? The fat dude in the pitcher is stationary!
Can you see her spinning left?
I’ve often wondered ‘bout you! lol ;)
These peoples are confused. They old school, we new school. It’s not in what directions she’s spinning, but is she GUILTY or NOT GUILTY?!
All I know is she is fixin to corkscrew herself down to China if she’s doesn’t stop it this instant.
Definite girl. And tho left-right is difficult, I have an uncanny sense of direction. It's a visualization thing.
Yep. Maybe it means we can change which side of our brain is dominating the task at hand?
Regardless, tis very cool :)
Thee and me, Girlene, and also see post # 66 on this thread.
Yes. Both ways. Just however I set my mind to it.
Yes, little tricks work. It seems like some mirror-image thing for me, to remember how life looks as if looking from a distance instead of from the inside out.
Women and men do generally seem to have different abilities with left-right and direction. Women seem prone to have difficulties in remembering their left from right. When I met my wife, she'd right left and right on the top of her sneakers to help her remember. She's terrible at navigation, unless she's inside a building - then she excels while I'm totally lost and rely on her to lead the way.
Okay, thanks! Blows my theory, I guess.
By concentrating I could get her to “spin” both ways, I guess that means I am “bi” at least in my brain.
Try staring at the image while counting to thirty (1001 - 1002 - etc.). It instantly flipped for me to a right-hand rotation at about the 15 sec mark. It would be interesting to see if on average, women see a different rotation than men.
