It amazes me that so many conservatives seem to be recently enamored with Russia. I've been there the average Russian hates Americans. This belief that Russia provides anything close to what Americans perceive as good government is stupid beyond belief....I'm reminded of the liberals/communists going there in the 1920’s...seems there is always another generation of fools.

Russia remains a very dysfunctional nation in many ways. I think FReepers became enamored with the select news stories we see on here that demonstrate the masculinity and patriotism of Putin vs. the femininity and destructive ideas of Obama.
