At least twice in the first week of a program that made its debut Aug. 1, Clark said that former Pujols trainer Chris Mihlfeld told him in 2000 that he shot him up with steroids.
The trainer has denied telling Clark anything of the sort. I like Jack Clark - he played for the Giants when I was a kid, and was one of the few bright spots on some pretty bad teams - but publicly accusing a player of PED usage without firm evidence in your hands isn't very bright, especially if the player has enough money to hire a team of good lawyers.

Perhaps the trainer did tell Clark and the trainer is now back tracking. We don't know what was said in that conversation. Only Clark and the trainer know. But if the trainer did tell Clark, then I don't see anything wrong with Clark making that information public.
