Prepare to be outraged.....Shocking Surveillance Video Captures Cop Brutally Beating Female Shoplifter In Front Of Her 1 Yr Old Child in Iowa.
I worked in corporate loss prevention a long time ago...let me tell you...this is beyond lawsuit...these cops should be in prison.
Video: http://www.ktrh.com/pages/michaelberry.html?article=11556885
Did I make some sort of claim of there being some other video. I must have missed that I did that.
I guess you missed it.
Does "chopped up video" not imply there is other video or this video is incomplete?
lol...
You didn't read the story....its there.
I’m with you....and the knee-jerk cop bashing that is constantly on Free Republic has risen to a sickening level.
Don’t you need to get out the door before it’s shoplifting???
She was running that piehole nonstop right up to the point that the officer decided to put her ass on standby. Good job officer.
Comments like yours are hard to comprehend. Do you really think a law enforcement officer has a right to beat up a woman caught shoplifting? So what, if they’d hauled in a murderer then they should be able to kill him I guess. Someone is given a badge, gun, and cuffs for the purpose of maintaining the law and apprehending criminals to be processed by the court. They are supposed to uphold the law. If it is against the law for me to bash someone else in the face when I don’t like something they do then it’s also against the law for a cop. Only it’s worse when it’s a cop. They are held to a higher standard, as they should be, they are to be the example. Abuse of authority should NOT be applauded.
I don’t know how the sh!t anyone can tell anything from that video, but my eyes are too tired to scrutinize anything right now.
The played the whole tape on the local news (this is a local story).
The Davenport police chief said he supports his officers, and that they only were trying to protect themselves. According to him, they thought the woman was THINKING about fighting and was swearing on her phone.
So they jumped her and forced her down. In the struggle, she bit one cop. Then they beat her up.
If you or I did that, there would be assault charges. But they cops got a pass.
Her husband is black. As is her kids. The NAACP is getting involved.
Did you actually watch the complete video later in the thread?
The video evidence is not sufficient to cast judgement against the officers from what I saw. I saw her yap flappin’ and without the transcript I can only assume she was beggin’ for an ass whipping. She got one. Kuddos!
Maybe next time she’ll keep her mouth shut.
I have punched a few guys in my time , always one on one, in my 70 years I have never punched a woman.
My Daddy taught me women were not for punching.
Only a coward punches a woman.
The world is a changing place but women are not to be punched.
She shouldnt poke a bear with a stick.
\===========/
Shouldn’t poke a pig with vowels and consonants.
Really?
She was sitting. Down and the officer seems to be a bit jovial just before he pulls his Jekyll and Hyde routine.
She prolly needed an attitude adjustment but, not at the hands of a thug, with a badge and full indemnity.
These posts need PIG ALERTs. They operate outside the law, and so shall we.
If she is biting his finger, then she deserves a punch or two to get her to stop. My question is why did the cop run across the room to man handle her in the first place? The cops initiated the violence, shocker I know.
Yes, I actually did.
The irony of the user name must not be lost;
“In October 1991, Tupac filed a $10 million civil suit against the Oakland Police Department, alleging they brutally beat him for jaywalking.”
“In November 1993, Shakur and others were charged with sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room.”
“Shakur shot one officer in the buttocks, and the other in the leg, back, or abdomen, according to varying news reports”
*chuckle*
