What is it about documented pit bull attacks that bothers you?
What bothers me is the effort of the hype you people put into it. Like I said, there are hundreds of reports, statistics, charts and such to cite. A responsible owner would recognize if his dog was at risk to cause a problem and never allow it to happen. Ownership of these animals is not for most. Where are your stats showing the level of inadequacy of the owners?

Where are your stats showing the level of inadequacy of the owners? As soon as a well-trained, well treated pit bull(s) attack and kill people the pro pit lobby announces that it’s the owners fault and that the dog was poorly trained and poorly treated. No evidence required. The article I linked demonstrates this.
The pro pit nutter who lied and claimed the dogs who killed the baby were improperly cared for and trained was sent to the hospital by one of his pit bulls who siezed his arm and wouldn’t let go. Oddly enough, that pit bull “died” locked in a hot car - cooked to death. Now either the man euthanized his own dog in a barbaric inhuman way, or the dog was improperly cared for. But that guy is pro pit judging the victims in the article without proof. Who gets to decide? Doesn’t it require evidence before you say that only improperly cared for dogs attack? There apparently is no way to tell which owners meet your standards or which dogs meet mine. People are dying or being horrifically maimed. What’s the plan? All I have heard is malicious blame from Pro Pitters. No plan - just blame. Oh and photos of their dogs as if to say “See? My pit hasn’t killed my children yet! So neener neener, you lost yours and I still have mine! That means I am a better owner!” That isn’t a plan.
I don’t care why the dog is acting aggressively, I only care that it is.
If its a threat I will address it before it hurts someone.
