I’m glad I live in a very small town.
Our Pit Bull is very nice, he’s a giant scaredy cat when someone tries to take his picture and fireworks scare him to hide under the table and shivver
BTW, don’t know if you have kids, but I’m sure your neighbors do. Making them all aware of the new doggie resident is the least a good neighbor can do in this situation.
Provided the cops get the right address....
Can we *assume* the cops will get the right house? Heh.
Oh yeah, the guy that invented Vap-O-Rub....
Your cats run free and poop in your neighbors’ flower beds but that’s OK? It is not life threatening but it is wrong and inconsiderate on your part. But to the free range Pit Bull situation, that is so wrong in so many ways. I would have a peaceful discussion with the owners. If that is unsuccessful talk to animal control. Move your cats indoors or buy a farm. Free range pets and suburbs don’t mix.
Drop a dime on your new neighbors...... tell the cops they’re dealing drugs. The cops will show up and shoot the dog for you.
If your cats are in your yard he WILL KILL them. I repeat: the dog will kill your cats if you do not confine your cats to the house.
Poor manners? Like a new neighbor with a dangerous breed allowed to roam uncontrolled with the owner’s knowledge and assent? That sort of poor manners?
If they’re that lacking in common sense and decency screw em.
I had this happen not long ago with a neighbor’s dog on my property growling at me. I walked across the street and told the neighbor that someone would shoot his dog if that ever happened again. So far that worked.
And eff you NSA...come and get them you stupid F#cks...lead first!
Kind of like the snake owner who thinks their 6 and 8 year old boys can sleep in the same room with the very large and very hungry and stealthy predator snake! Notice how the initial story was that the snake was in the room BELOW the boys, only to find out they lied about that? Regardless, the boys are deader than dead now.
Call the cops, lol! Problem solved.
Decide if you want to carry pepper spray or a gun every time you go outside.
If I were you, I’d go boating tonight.
Before contacting animal control, if the neighbor appears approachable, you might try a neighborly conversation first. If they are homeowners you will have to deal with them as neighbors for some time. A peaceful approach may save headaches down the road. If, however, they are not approachable, you will have little recourse but to involve animal control. Good luck. I hope for a peaceful resolution.
I have heard stories of how pepper spray doesn’t work but I had to use it one time and it was effective.
I was living in Virginia Beach and was walking out to a nearby strip mall to get a paper. I noticed a very mean looking Rottweiler and went back to the house and put a can of pepper spray in my pocket. The dog ignored me but I think the reason was that I was watching him.
I got my paper and was glancing at the front page and had forgotten about the dog. I suddenly saw him running right to me and growling. I grabbed the pepper spray and waited until he got to within a few feet and sprayed him. It stopped him like he had been hit with a load of buckshot. This was old government issue spray which was only one tenth of a percent pepper. You can get spray now which is something like a hundred times stronger.
Maybe on the safe side you give them your address. ;-)
is your mailbox close to your neighbors? The dog may have thought you were taking his owners property
