Business usage is still on my company windows machine with Win 7 Enterprise, but the thought of going to touch screen 8 made me realize that if I had to learn a whole new interface, it might as well be Apple and save the grief.

I don't get it. Eventually the company is going to have to upgrade. Switching to the Mac for your personal computer is just going to end up making you learn a new interface twice, instead of once.

I’m only 15 months from retirement. If they go from 7 to 8 next year sometime, I will have to deal with it very little.

I can also have all the time and IT support needed for work processes. At home I just want to turn it on and have it work. MS at home always requires a lot of preventative maintenance and upgrading maintenance time that I am tired of investing.
