Last time I saw him, he was playing for a GOP support party at Red Rocks right before the election last year with conservative musicians, which later became the biggest crowd in history at Red Rocks in CO.
Not to change the subject. But it occurs to me, these "right wing" performers, establishments, businesses, entertainers, etc. seem to really bring out the consumers when they touch a nerve that resonates. And the consumers (conservatives mostly) really tend to put their money where their mouth is when so influenced. I think back to the Chick-Filet incident. This is polar opposite of the left. They have to buss in support, exaggerate numbers and use creative camera angles to embellish popularity for their "stars".
With this in mind, it amazes me that we always seem stifled and our influence limited or blocked at every turn when it comes to outright political ideology in the mainstream.
