Oh yes, we have all kinds of wildlife here. I have fished snakes out of the pool and although I appreciate them eating rodents, I'd rather not see them. I really don't like the poisonous ones but the bright green grass snakes are very pretty.

February? They plan to move in together next year if it’s working out still, although he mentioned her breaking her lease. He has moved to San Jose to be near her. New job, new housing for him. Can’t find much not to like about him.

well it’s still early in the relationship, if it’s only been since Feb, but looks promising.

No, now I will have to try and catch it later this week. We have violin and guitar lessons at that time today.

I watched a couple of episodes of it on SciFi channel awhile back-I never could really get interested in it, even when it was first running. I’m more into the Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica stuff when it comes to action-type scifi...

It interferes with serenity
When you seldom ever know
If you have work tomorrow
When business is so slow

You buy some more chicken,
And walk right by the steak-
You can’t afford to buy that
On what you manage to make

Now, most of us long for
What we didn’t lack before-
Thanks to Obama, we dream of
More money for the grocery store...

I’ve got to go do some measuring for a bid-back soon...

I never watched it until Saturday a week ago, and watched the entire series and movie in a week. I can see why people got upset that it was cancelled. It was a fun show with interesting characters and story lines. Lots of funny moments, too.

At its root, it was about the American spirit.

It showed a lot of promise. Probably good for it that it didn’t run so long that it got hopelessly wrapped up in its mythology.

I’m looking at you, X Files.

We have lotsa snakes in TN, but only the copperheads, cottonmouths and rattlers are dangerous. It’s illegal to kill a snake in TN. Go figure. If I had a rattler around here, my serenity would fly right out the window.

I got a couple of shots of a juvenile red rat snake in the side yard. The photos don’t do it justice. It was the most beautiful snake I’ve ever seen with many more colors and shadings than you see in the photos.
