It’s pretty much the only type of racing I go see anymore.

Sprint car/World of Outlaws is real racing. Sideways on the dirt at 120+ MPH. "Slide-jobs" etc.

Nascarwreck is just another form of demolition derby.

I grew up watching that stuff. Lou Blaney, etc. Sharon Speedway in Ohio. My dad was really into it. They used to go to Iowa every year when he was working and had some spare scratch.

I think Dave Blaney bought that speedway, I don’t know it’s been so long since I’ve seen a race. Not really my thing, my dad is the racing nut. Last time I saw one was out east of Dallas, Mesquite or something, I can’t remember but he was coming down and wanted to plan his trip around a race, so I went.

Fun stuff for sure, I just have kids that are very into sports and don’t really have time for that.
