Princeton? What the hell? How is it credible that a university is rating all the other universities? Isn’t this a little like Miss Utah scoring the rest of the pageant entrants?
This is just the East Coast elite attempting to undermine the value of degrees from non-Ivy League schools.
For example, UC Santa Barbara. It’s on the beach. It’s beautiful. So are the students. So what? That makes it a “party” school? It’s also really hard to get into. Top robotics and engineering programs. Awarded a half dozen Nobel Prizes in the last ten years. Can you say that, Princeton? Not lately.
And yet you grindy little Princeton nerds undoubtedly “party” just as hard. You’re just in hellhole New Jersey, not California, and nobody wants to look at you guys in bathing suits. Jealous much?
Signed,
UC Santa Barbara Alum
P.S. “Party” is neither an adjective nor a verb, so your storied literature department, which once long ago launched F. Scott Fitzgerald, might want to rethink that usage. Or are you just dumbing it down for us rubes?
That's just the name of the company.
I work in Princeton and drive through Princeton University every day. There is a small coffee shop on the side street I cut through. On a nice spring or autumn day, the sidewalk tables are full of hippies and commies and the streets are lined with Prius, Coopers, and “Smart” cars with Obama Biden stickers. I roll through in my 7 Series B-L-A-R-I-N-G Glen Beck while waiting for the light (yes, I get in a little late-comes with the gray hairs). They ruin my country, I ruin their coffee on a beautiful day. They hate me.
