Exactly, there is no reason for a driver to have to wait 12 minutes to leave the DFW Airport.
I do not disagree with your complaint. I just pointed out that the reason to have a horn is to warn someone of impending danger not to complain that one is in a long slow line.
I think you misunderstood the post (or else I did.)
I believe this is what was intended: The horn is for warning people of a hazard (such as “I am here and it looks like you don’t see me”.) It is not the appropriate means for you to register your complaint for the slow service, and using it for that purpose conditions people to ignore actual hazards because they assume it’s just an impatient driver, not an actual hazard. That was my interpretation of the post, and if that is what was meant, I agree with it.
