I think “Negro Please” was what they were saying in the 50’s and 60’s.

I think I remember it being said on “Good Times”

I’m about a decade younger than wardaddy and ‘negro please’ was used quite frequently between blacks in my 50/50 HS back in the early 80’s. The ‘n’ word was on a list of words guaranteed to get you suspended. In school suspension was no picnic and certainly not worth it to prove any kind of point.
