A U.S. business owner was killed in Thailand after going onstage to sing with a band.
What was supposed to be a fun vacation in Bangkok turned into a nightmare for one family.
Bobby Ray Carter, 51, of Texas, his wife Kelly, and their 18-month-old daughter Sadie, traveled to Thailand to celebrate Mr. Carters birthday. The Carters were meeting up with several other couples including Carter's adult son. The group went out to the Longhorn Saloon bar at the Ao Nang beach in Krabi province in Thailand.

America sure has its share of ugly Americans here in Japan , too , and they spoil things for those of us who are not ugly , e.g. not being allowed to enter various clubs and forbidden for using various “ services “ .

Now if he'd brought a harmonica up there with him, I could understand the band's reaction.

Bobby Ray Carter, 51, of Texas, his wife Kelly, and their 18-month-old daughter Sadie, traveled to Thailand to celebrate Mr. Carters birthday. And his wife Kelly ... a 27 year old former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader.
Kidding ... kidding ... but obviously his second or maybe third wife.

To take their 18 month old daughter on a trip like that is irresponsible and stupid.

I don’t know the whole story, but when I’m in somebody else’s country I try to do everything that I can to avoid any kind of dust up with the locals. Those types of encounters tend not to end well.
