Last weekend I had to do some maintenance work on someone’s XP computer that was about the same age give or take. The thing worked fine and did what it was supposed to do but it did feel a bit like a relic - can’t exactly put my finger on why but it felt like watching an old TV show or something.

Have a look at the old drive under C:\Documents and Settings>> **user** >>Application Data>>Mozilla>>Firefox>>Profiles>>Backups.

There should be a bookmarks.html file there or maybe in the Profiles directory. It usually makes a bookmarks backup when FF is exited.
