The year was 1968. I was working for WLKY-TV, the ABC affiliate (now CBS) in Louisville, KY. Diane Sawyer, from a very rich and famous family in Louisville, was the TV “Weather Girl.” She would come to work wearing flip-flops and a sundress and not much else.

Yet four decades later that anchor down in Huntsville gets fired for working without a bra.
