Oh, so sorry to hear about the burners on your range! Is there anyway you can just use the microwave, until it is fixed? That would be much safer for you, don’t you think?
I dread the thought of no power, and always have chopped wood, a screened in outdoor fireplace, grills, charcoal and old pans - just in case I need them.
Regarding the race today - is Tony Steward going to be racing? I know he was in a pretty bad accident, and broke his leg (I think), not too long ago.
(I never admired him much, after he abandoned #20. It just didn’t ever seem to work for me after that.)
Thank you, yorkie. The man will be here tomorrow so I went to Hardee’s and picked up gravy biscuits and a nice piece of sausage for breakfast and will pick up my supper somewhere. I just had 2 of those little mandarin orange cups. They are so good! Greg told me I could use 2 of the burners but if I don’t have to cook, I won’t. I haven’t had one of those roast beef sandwiches from Hardee’s in a while with horseradish sauce, so that may be my supper....LOL!
I don’t know when the race is....I was wondering as Greg is planning on staying there for a week. I think he and some friends camp out and I think thats what they like best as I’m always teasing him about it. I bet the race is next weekend but they have fun watching the racers arrive in their big tractor trailers and I guess its fun if you’re into that stuff. They can watch them practice some this week and that will be fun for them. The racers and fans bring a lot of money into our city and we have two huge races each year. People come here from all over the USA and Canada for the races.
I don’t know if Tony Stewart will race or not. It’ll be on our news this coming week I suppose. I bet he will be racing.
Think I need to adjust my thermostat as I am getting hot in this den. When I have the laptop here on my lap, it makes you get hotter! But I do like sitting on the couch and using the laptop. Seems I have more trouble typing on it as the keys fit different. Had to trim my nails some to use it. I am getting more used to it and its nice with a pillow for my back and sitting on the couch. OMG, what a long post. Oh well.....I’m not going to delete now! See you later, gator!
