Sorry I missed you Sunday! It’s so good to “see” you!
LOL!!!
I HOPE you didn’t move any furniture!
Happy Gratituesday to you!
I am grateful for:
Lynn-Dah’s recovery
My Music Ministry
My family and friends
FR
I am so happy things went well Sunday..You will bless many I know.
Thanking God Lynn-dah is doing so well!
I did nothing...They are worn out.Later on I have to get some help to get things out from under three beds..I will direct where to stack the mess..but plan on touching NOTHING.
Twin beds will arrive this week perhaps..My adjustable Select Comfort will be here in 2 weeks.
My impulsive moves do not work out well so I will be careful...promise!
My daughter cut the mats out of my Silky’s very furry tummy..She will not let me groom here there..and this time of year she into bigtime shedding. I held some of the time..My SIL figured out how to hold Silky just right so she could finish the job..My daughter rescued Silky years ago..as she rescued my two younger kitties.
Since Lynn-Dah submits to grooming daily, she doesn’t have time to make mats.
ANOTHER thing I am grateful for! :-)
not interested in religion ... ???
The churches of our day seem to be coming quite ordinary and secular in their faith. (Disguise your faith, remove religious symbols, essentially live like the world...) do what seems best in the time/moment., drifting away from foundational truths.
NO! this is not what Christians are to do, we are to love God and our fellow man. Worship and learn of God. Obey His commands, which are through out the Scriptures. Love God, love our neighbors, pray for those who persecute you, bless those who ... spitefully use you, and others.
Stand strong in our faith. Sermons are less ... pointing out our lack of understanding, or wisdom, and our disobedience.
The church I attend recently completed a 14 Million dollar addition/remodel. Enlarging the Sanctuary, adding a very large Welcome area. Has a fire place and seating areas. VERY NICE. As one friend said , “a very expensive new entrance”. My own thoughts are we need to be standing for what the Bible/Teachings are ... from the beginning to the Conclusion. We are losing our direction/purpose, it seems ...(as to what is important). I am a traditionalist about services which was more teaching (all of them) about the TRUTHS of God. ... it is what the Bible teaches. Faith, have Faith, God can do anything. We are told to BELIEVE. God is good, merciful, full of loving kindness, compassion, His mercies are new every morning. Let us praise God and do what is commanded.
They are not suggestions, they are commands, from God and from Jesus . We have no excuse. We do sin we are to repent in truth. We are forgiven. Praise God.
I wish Silky did not go on strike and will not let me comb her at times ..Lately she has been good ..but won’t let me touch her tummy. She has very fine long hair.
Is Silky a doggie or a kitteh?
She is a kitty..I have three.
Aha! Kittehs don’t take kindly to all dat hair pullin’
I was careless in my hold last year..Silky opened up a flap wound on my arm that took two months to heal..My tremor won’t allow me to cut so I hold while daughter cuts..Now SIL has shown his great expertise..He will hold.
;o)
Oh My....
Sounds like a Wildcat! :-)
She is a very sociable loving kitty..but does not like to be held down. Her struggling can cause me to get wounded.
She is strong.
Hi Meg! Happy GratiTuesday. I am grateful that the rest of my hay for the winter is on it’s way today. Hay is scarce again this year in WI.
Hay : ) do you think the twins will have costumes for Halloween this year that can be as cute as Thing One and Thing Two? That is such a great photo of them, I still haven’t forgot!
Pictures may be late..but I am sure to receive one!
I am glad you found hay..I know it can be scarce in Texas, too.

It is amazing how strong even the littlest animals can be, especially when they have made up their mind about something!
(((((Thank you, Dear Potlatch)))))
Whats special about September 4? Perhaps its your birthday or anniversary. That would make it special. Or maybe you could celebrate the historic events of this day. For instance, in 1781, the city of Los Angeles, California, was founded. Or this: In 1993, Jim Abbott, a pitcher for the New York Yankees, didnt let anyone get a hit off his pitchesand he was born without a right hand. Or if youre a TV fan: In 1951, the first live US coast-to-coast television broadcast was aired from San Francisco.
But what if none of these events and facts seem to make your September 4 special? Try these ideas:
Today God gives you a new opportunity to praise Him. Psalm 118:24 says, This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Today God provides for you and wants your trust. Give us day by day our daily bread (Luke 11:3).
Today God wants to speak to you through His Word. The believers at Berea searched the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11).
Today God desires to renew your inner person. The inward man is being renewed day by day (2 Cor. 4:16).
With God as your guide, September 4and every daycan be special.
Read: Luke 11:1-4
