Art Bell is a showman, not a talker. He’s reminiscent of old-time-radio in creating theater of the mind, exploring the imagination in the sense of Dimension X or the more recent CBS Radio Mystery Theater. In contrast with many others, this is a great move by Sirius XM!

I always liked him because he was open about the fact that a lot of stuff on his show was BS but it was up to you to figure it out.

Rolley James is another good self described conspiracy theorist who hits on a lot of truth. One of her greatest shows was when she threw Jesse Ventura off the show for trying to bully her into agreeing that global warming is real because his car overheats sitting in traffic at the Mexican border.

I love Art Bell and have missed him a lot. He would let anyone on and say what they wanted.

Art could interview anyone and get them to speak for themselves and say something interesting. He did not ridicule the obvious crazies, not even the woman who claimed to have a reptilian alien lover.

His shows were like sitting around a campfire all night swapping stories. Ghost-to-Ghost was the best.

He did not tolerate people who came on his show and flat out lied, however, but blasted them on air.
