Jesus when accepted turns slim chance into 100% chance... period. Spirit assistance is needed to effect repentance... period. Jews have been trying to do it all on their own. So do Christianesque congregations that miss the point.
(Actually I “lied” ... Jesus turns not “slim chance” but 0% into 100%... prior to revelation of Jesus as Son, receiving of salvation spirit was effected by putting direct faith in Jehovah for doing that... and every single Jew who did that will recognize who Jesus is as the Son person of God. These “repentance” protocols of the modern rabbinic Jews are so much spiritual hooey... as even David said, it was only to God that he was responsible. He did not have to even make human amends... any more than he would have had to unkill Uriah.)
