Wow, how much denim is the cast of Austin Stories wearing?! Seriously, the guy on the right can make 15 pairs of skinny jeans from all that denim.

This is supposed to be a fun thread. If you have nothing to contribute, please ignore.

At least the women’s jeans of today are very form fitting and quite pleasing!

True story!

I got on a kick of nostalgic tv shows and bought Season 2 of Beverly Hills 90210. They were wearing jeans that were so high-waisted that I swear those jeans stopped just below the bra-line!
And I know it’s the fashion, but I hate the skinny jeans trend!

Seriously, the guy on the right can make 15 pairs of skinny jeans from all that denim. And can conceal a full-size .45 under all that baggy denim.

That reminds me more of 80s jeans.

At least they’re not scratched up and torn on purpose. I miss the old days when a new pair of jeans was dark blue and very stiff. (I also miss the days when I looked pretty good in them.)

And they were indestructible. Today Levis ain’t NEAR what they used to be.

Dee Dee Ramone (pictured far right) hated the Ramones' band uniform. Kids at the shows would pull at his ripped jeans and make the tears even worse so much so that the pants would become unwearable at future gigs (meaning he had to keep spending money on them).
He also wanted to dress better/differenly as time went on (and he eventually cut his hair short and bleached it to show he wasn't standing with the band).

...the old days when a new pair of jeans was dark blue and very stiff.I only buy very stiff very dark blue jeans... I refuse to pay more money for wornout jeans that will rip out in the crotch in 3 months. Tractor supply is a good source.

No 90's jean collection would be complete without Francois Girbaud jeans.
