The phone that I remember was my grandparents phone and it had a circular dial down on the base. I was about 12 so that would have been 1952 when they got a new phone. I remember being disappointed.
My father in law had a party line out on his ranch in the 60’s. That is a trip! LOL! People listening in on other people conversations.
